The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for West Carteret in their matchups with Swansboro: they've now lost four in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Swansboro to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jonah Holt, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jermaine Cunningham, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
West Carteret's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Swansboro, the victory was the 20th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-1.
