The Central Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 45-28 fall against South Mountain. Central has not had much luck with South Mountain recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Central's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lia Sims, who scored 10 points along with 9 steals and 6 rebounds. Sims scored a full 35.7% of Central's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Shakeira Mosley was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for South Mountain, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Central won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Browne at 3:00 p.m. on November 22nd. South Mountain will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Marcos de Niza at 4:30 p.m. on November 22nd. Hopefully Marcos de Niza focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday.
