On Friday Bellows Free Academy take on Mt. Mansfield at 7:00 PM. Bellows Free Academy is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
Bellows Free Academy had to kick off their season on the road last Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They made easy work of Champlain Valley Union and carried off a 37-6 win.
Meanwhile, Mt. Mansfield faced Rice Memorial in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Mt. Mansfield were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 22-26 to Rice Memorial.
Bellows Free Academy's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Mt. Mansfield's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Bellows Free Academy's success rolls on or if Mt. Mansfield are able to steal their positive momentum.
