After a string of four wins, Triway's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Smithville Smithies by a score of 3-2. While the Titans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Smithies 25-18 in the first set.

Pyper Hamilton paced Triway's offense, picking up 15 kills. Hamilton got some help from Taylor Mathis and her 43 assists. Reagan Underwood controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Triway's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Smithville, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Triway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Chippewa on the 29th. As for Smithville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Norwayne on the 30th.
