Baseball Recap: Lenox Sets Scoring Season-High Against Essex

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lenox). They blew past the Essex Trojans 23-1 on Saturday. Considering the Tigers have won 12 games by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Lenox has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.9 runs over those games. As for Essex, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Coming up, Lenox will square off against East Mills on Tuesday. Essex does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
