The Hart Indians will be playing at home against the Crean Lutheran Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
After only seven points in their last match, Hart made sure to put some points up on the board against Castaic on Friday. Hart really took it to Castaic for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-13 win at home. With Hart ahead 35-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hart to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chris Clauss, who rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also picked up 63 receiving yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Timmy Larkins, who threw for 292 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Crean Lutheran at home against Kennedy on Friday as the squad secured a 39-6 victory. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Crean Lutheran had established a 26 point advantage.
Crean Lutheran relied on the efforts of Caden Jones, who threw for 148 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and Daylin Caamano, who picked up 39 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Hart's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-3. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32 points. As for Crean Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
