Volleyball Recap: Wren Wins Going Away Against Emerald

Wren not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 3rd (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Emerald Vikings with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Hurricanes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Wren walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-21, 25-21.

Colbie Wade paced Wren's offense, picking up 14 kills. Wade got some help from Rilyn Johnson and her 34 assists. Emma Levi controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Wren's record is now 13-5. As for Emerald, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Coming up, Wren will look to defend their home court on Monday against Powdersville at 7:00 p.m. As for Emerald, they will head out to square off against Westside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
