Madison had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 33-13 margin over the Bonneville Bees on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Bees: they've now won six in a row.

Several Bees players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaine Rodriguez, who picked up 138 receiving yards and two scores. Brock Faulkner was another key passer, throwing for 143 yards and one touchdown.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will take on Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bonneville, they will challenge Bishop Kelly at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
