Lakeland might have drawn first blood against Wilson on Thursday, but it was Wilson who got the last laugh. Lakeland took a 7-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wilson. Lakeland are ranked 85th in the state (178 spots ahead of Wilson), so the loss was all the more frustrating.
The loss dropped Lakeland back to even at 0-0. The win bumped Wilson's record up to 0-1.
Lakeland will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Indian River at 7:00 PM. As for Wilson, they will face off against Deep Creek.
