Conifer put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the George Washington Patriots, posting a 42-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lobos also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Conifer didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Mason Squires, Silar Washer, and Dillon Warner picked up one apiece. Another thorn in George Washington's side was Brandon Knolmayer, who made 13 total tackles.

Conifer's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for George Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Conifer is taking a road trip to face off against Eagle Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lobos' defense better be ready for this one: the Devils have averaged an impressive 31.8 points per game this season. As for George Washington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Glenwood Springs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Demons' defense has only allowed 15 points per game this season, so the Patriots' offense will have their work cut out for them.
