Bowie Gets a Boost from Mann in 25-18 Victory
Starting off the list is Bowie's Rayder Mann, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mann threw for 160 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 48 yards.
Bowie moved to 4-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Mann and Bowie will head out to challenge Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brinkley Made His Presence Known in Boyd's 25-18 Loss
Boyd had to settle for second on Friday, but Drew Brinkley sure wasn't going down easily. Nobody could stop Brinkley as he picked up 99 receiving yards and a touchdown. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending a pass.
Boyd is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Brinkley and Boyd will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Peaster at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Hunter Etter Makes It Two for Boyd
Keeping Brinkley company is Hunter Etter, a fellow Boyd player. He picked up 97 receiving yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended a pass.
