The Graves County Eagles had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They breezed by Muhlenberg County at home to the tune of 55-21. Considering Graves County has won four matches by more than 33 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Graves County was led to victory by Cole Katzman and Kaden Gregory. Katzman rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, while Gregory threw for 181 yards and four touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Lincoln Acree, who picked up 101 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Graves County's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Muhlenberg County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Graves County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Muhlenberg County will be playing in front of their home fans against Ballard Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ballard Memorial is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
