Bushland has gone a perfect 10-0 against Dalhart recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Bushland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .788. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Dalhart lost 18-1 to Canadian on Monday.
Dalhart saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyra Rivera, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
Dalhart now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Bushland, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.
Dalhart's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bushland has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.1 hits per game. It's a different story for Dalhart, though, as they've been averaging 10.4 hits. Given Bushland's sizable advantage in that area, Dalhart will need to find a way to close that gap.
Bushland took their win against Dalhart in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 14-0. Will Bushland repeat their success, or does Dalhart has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
