The North Polars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 80-40 victory over Como Park on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win North has managed all season.
North was led to victory by Brevin Conway and Ryder Salinas. Conway scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Salinas scored 27 points along with seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Duke King, who scored eight points along with three steals.
North's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Como Park, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Two Rivers at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Como Park will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Holdingford at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
