Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead California School for the Deaf-Riverside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Matthew Silvay, who rushed for 115 yards and five touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 53 receiving yards. Gio Visco was another key contributor, throwing for 325 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.
California School for the Deaf-Riverside has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 9-3 record. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.15 points. As for Santa Clara, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
California School for the Deaf-Riverside will be playing at home against Faith Baptist at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Faith Baptist knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five games -- so hopefully California School for the Deaf-Riverside likes a good challenge.
