The David Anderson Blue Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Western Reserve Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
David Anderson put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Wellsville 41-14 at home. The win was just what David Anderson needed coming off of a 42-14 defeat in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Western Reserve entered their tilt with Jackson-Milton with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Western Reserve took down Jackson-Milton 22-7 on Friday.
Luke Henning and Jack Darney were among the main playmakers for Western Reserve as the former threw for 78 yards and two touchdowns and the latter gained 114 total yards and a touchdown. Darney is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played.
David Anderson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Western Reserve, their win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-2.
