Cambridge-South Dorchester will take on Edmondson-Westside in each of the teams' third playoff game on Friday. The stakes are high as both teams are all in, each fighting to extend its postseason success.
Cambridge-South Dorchester earned some more postseason success in their matchup last week. They took their contest against Fallston by a conclusive 48-14 score. The Vikings can attribute much of their success to Khalik Beasley, who rushed for 159 yards and one TD on 14 carries. Beasley has now produced at least one touchdown in the past seven games.
Cambridge-South Dorchester's defense was a presence as well, and it collected four interceptions. Beasley snatched up two of those interceptions.
Meanwhile, Edmondson-Westside kept a clean sheet against Forest Park. Edmondson-Westside made easy work of Forest Park and carried off a 26 to nothing victory.
