When it comes to explaining why Westran lost, one person who can't be blamed is Marshall Kitchen. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Kitchen is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Trent Brandow, who scored nine points.

Salisbury's victory was their 12th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Westran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-4.
Salisbury will be playing at home against Community on Tuesday. Community is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.
