The Sterling Rangers lost against the North Shore Mustangs back in February of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Sterling took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Shore. Sterling has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Deandre Jones was his usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with 8 rebounds for North Shore. That makes it two consecutive games in which Jones has scored at least 25% of North Shore's points. Teddious Mayes was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for North Shore, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Sterling will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Montgomery at 2:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for North Shore, they will face off against Deer Park at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Deer Park presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North Shore in Texas (Deer Park is ranked 202nd, while North Shore is ranked 518th).
