The Kearney Catholic Stars will be home for the holidays to greet  the McCook Bison at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Kearney Catholic entered their tilt with Ravenna with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. Kearney Catholic blew past Ravenna 45-17 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest  victory Kearney Catholic has managed all season.
  Callie Squiers was  her usual excellent self,  scoring 15 points along with nine  rebounds. That's the first time this season that  she  pulled down eight or more   rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Londyn Carnes, who  scored six points along with six  rebounds and four  steals.
 Meanwhile, McCook scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They strolled past Cozad with  points to spare, taking the game  60-43. That  60-43 margin sets a new team best for McCook this season.
 Kearney Catholic's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for McCook, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
 Kearney Catholic didn't have too much breathing room in their  match against McCook  in their previous matchup  back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a  37-33 victory. Does  Kearney Catholic have another victory up their sleeve, or will McCook turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
