They were the victim of a tough 24-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles. Business Engineering Science Tech just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Cobb Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cooper Bazarsky, who rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Michai Rowe, who rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Another reason for the win was North Cobb Christian's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Raymond Dixon and his two sacks.
Business Engineering Science Tech's defeat was their ninth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 3-6. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 7.4 points per game. As for North Cobb Christian, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.
Business Engineering Science Tech will be playing in front of their home fans against Therrell at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Therrell is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games. North Cobb Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
