Softball Recap: Raymond/South Bend Extends Winning Streak to Six

Raymond/South Bend came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Forks Spartans. Considering the Ravens have won eight games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Macey Enlow made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Enlow was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Emma Glazier was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Koski Kassie was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Raymond/South Bend always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Forks only posted an OBP of .371.

Raymond/South Bend pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.6 runs. As for Forks, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Raymond/South Bend will host Chief Leschi at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ravens are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Forks, they will head out on the road to face off against Coupeville at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Spartans will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least ten runs in their last ten matchups.
