While losing is never fun, McGregor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 397th, while Barnum is ranked 190th).
In what's become a running theme this season, Cromwell gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 94-65 win over Northland. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Brady Dahl was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tucker Korpi, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
McGregor dropped their record down to 4-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Cromwell, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.
