It was a good run, but Spruce Creek unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell to the Treasure Coast Titans 65-59. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Hawks came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Titans are ranked 214th).

Spruce Creek's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Treasure Coast, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Spruce Creek will challenge Ponte Vedra at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Ponte Vedra is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.2 points per game this season. As for Treasure Coast, they will be taking part in a tournament against Titusville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Treasure Coast has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
