Liberty is 8-1-1 against Anahuac since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Liberty Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Anahuac Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Liberty's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
On Tuesday, Liberty kept a clean sheet against West Fork. They beat the Gators by the very same score they won with last week: 1-0.
Meanwhile, sadly, Anahuac is still looking for their first win of the season after six contests. Their rough 3-0 loss to East Chambers on Monday might stick with them for a while.
Liberty's win bumped their record up to 4-7-1. As for Anahuac, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
