Jacob Davis was a one-man wrecking crew For New Palestine. as he rushed for 83 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries, and also threw for 233 yards and two touchdowns on only 19 passes. What's more, Davis posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Landon Maddox did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 114 receiving yards.
Having lost for the first time this season, Yorktown fell to 2-1. As for New Palestine, the win (which was their 16th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.
