Basketball Recap: Fort Leboeuf Extends Winning Streak to Four

Fort LeBoeuf put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Erie First Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 83-69. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bison also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Fort LeBoeuf's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason Friedman, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave Friedman a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Carson Papay, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 19 points in addition to six boards and five assists.

Fort LeBoeuf's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Erie First Christian Academy, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-2.

Fort LeBoeuf will host North East at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Erie First Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Iroquois at 8:30 p.m. on December 27th.
