Frank Pepe was a major factor in St. James's victory over Conway on Wednesday. The Tigers had no answer to Pepe as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Pepe has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Pepe's strong effort led St. James over Conway and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Sharks are 9-1 against the Tigers going back to March of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
