The Bedford Bisons will head out on the road to face off against the Forest Hills Rangers at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Bedford is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
Last Friday, Bedford came up short against Central and fell 50-42. While losing is never fun, Bedford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 479th, while Central is ranked 142nd).
Cole Taylor put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Price, who scored four points.
Meanwhile, Forest Hills unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 60-34 walloping at the hands of Westmont Hilltop. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Forest Hills has scored all season.
Bedford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Forest Hills, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-1.
Bedford couldn't quite finish off Forest Hills in their previous matchup back in January and fell 71-69. Can Bedford avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
