Tyler Maddix posted a new career-high in runs on Monday. He went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three doubles, and two RBI, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Maddix's strong effort led Bishop Canevin over Eden Christian Academy and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Crusaders will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 265 places lower in Pennsylvania), but they're not letting that get them down.
