After some red-hot point totals in their last 3 games, Alamo Navajo fizzled out two weeks ago. They took a serious blow against Foothill, falling 0-52. The low total for Alamo Navajo limited their streak of high-flying scores to three in a row.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their match two weeks ago against Mountainair, Magdalena were happy to find some success last Thursday. Magdalena narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Menaul 22-20. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
Alamo Navajo took a serious blow against Magdalena the last time the two teams met, falling 8-62. Can Alamo Navajo avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
