Farrell has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Westinghouse Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Farrell: 11.3, Westinghouse: 13.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
Farrell had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against Mercyhurst Prep by a score of 16-9 on Saturday.
Farrell can attribute much of their success to Brandon Chambers Jr, who rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Westinghouse put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 46-30 win over Central Clarion [Clarion/Clarion-Limestone/North Clarion]. Westinghouse's win was all the more impressive since Central Clarion [Clarion/Clarion-Limestone/North Clarion] was averaging only 12.08 points allowed on the season.
Farrell's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Westinghouse, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0.
Farrell took a serious blow against Westinghouse in their previous meeting back in November of 2022, falling 34-6. Can Farrell avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
