The Willapa Valley Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 24 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Columbia Adventist Academy 48-14 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Willapa Valley.
Willapa Valley found their leader in underclassman Lauren Matlock, who scored 16 points along with four steals. Tylar Keeton was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Willapa Valley's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Columbia Adventist Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
Willapa Valley will head out on the road to face off against Pe Ell at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbia Adventist Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington School for the Deaf at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington School for the Deaf's defense has only allowed 29.4 points per game this season, so Columbia Adventist Academy's offense will have their work cut out for Columbia Adventist Academy.
