Milaca suffered their biggest defeat since December 14, 2023 on Monday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 74-53 walloping at the hands of Kimball. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Milaca has suffered against Kimball since February 17, 2015.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Samson Trigg, who scored six points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Braden Taylor, who scored 13 points.
Even though they lost, Milaca smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Albany can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Little Falls 69-42 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Albany has posted since December 21, 2023.
Milaca dropped their record down to 1-12 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Albany, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.
Milaca ended up a good deal behind Albany in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, losing 74-57. Can Milaca avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
