After flying high against the Music Mountain Warriors last Tuesday, the Fredonia Lynx came back down to earth. Fredonia had to suffer through a rough 52-16 loss at the hands of Wayne. Having soared to a lofty 59 points in the game before, Fredonia couldn't push the score so high this time.
Among those leading the charge was Raegyn Blackburn, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Morrill, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Fredonia's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wayne, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fredonia will take on Basis at 5:30 p.m. on December 8th. Wayne will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pinnacle at 3:00 p.m. on December 14th.
