Groton will challenge Mobridge-Pollock on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game.
Last Friday, Groton had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 21-8 victory over Chamberlain.
Meanwhile, Mobridge-Pollock were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 8-14 to Stanley County.
Groton's win lifted them to 4-2 while Mobridge-Pollock's loss dropped them down to 2-2. We'll find out if Groton can add another positive mark to their record or if Mobridge-Pollock can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Groton's step.
