The High Plains Storm waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins but they left with four. They came out on top against Palmer by a score of 48-39. That's another feather in the cap for High Plains, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading High Plains to victory were Gahvrielle Lesiak and Peyton Hofmann. Lesiak scored ten points along with four steals, while Hofmann almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Lesiak has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Rylee Hofmann, who scored four points along with two blocks.
High Plains pushed their record up to 14-8 with that win, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Palmer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.
High Plains does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Palmer also has no future games currently scheduled.
