Palmer's tough 52-28 loss to the Hawks might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Palmer in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now lost five in a row.
Eli Arndt had an outrageously good game for Hampton as he scored 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jack Bullis, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Palmer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Hampton, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmer and the Red Hornets will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Heartland Lutheran is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Hampton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. College View Academy is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
