The Crown Point Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. Their rough 51-28 loss to Bolton Central might stick with them for a while. Crown Point has not had much luck with Bolton Central recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Bolton Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Maille Kelley out in front who scored 14 points. Jadynn Egloff was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Crown Point's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-10. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.5 points per game. As for Bolton Central, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crown Point won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Boquet Valley at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Hopefully Boquet Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Friday. As for Bolton Central, they will head out on the road to challenge Chazy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
