The Halls Red Devils's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 61-54 win over Knoxville Central. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Halls also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Halls to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jake Lane, who scored 22 points. Lane hasn't dropped below 15 points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaiden Stanton, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Halls' win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Knoxville Central, they dropped their record down to 8-12 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Halls will play host again and welcome the Beavers, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Karns has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 443 points over their last seven matchups. As for Knoxville Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
