St. John-Vianney (8-6, 7-4) has won four games in a row, the league's longest active win streak. In the past week, the Lancers won another two games, including a 10-0 win over Raritan.
Shore Regional's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 26 hits and 15 walks to lead the league in both categories. On the season, the Blue Devils have allowed just 154 hits, while striking out 88 batters.
