Faith Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 14-9 win over the Community Christian Cyclones. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Conquerors also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
Andrew Kelly and Jessie Carrillo did most of the damage at the plate: Kelly went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs, while Carrillo scored five runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Carrillo is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last eight games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Gavin Rands, who scored a run while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
They weren't the only ones working in the hit department: Faith Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive contests.
