In what's become a running theme this season, the Sebring Blue Streaks gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Auburndale 55-14 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-4.
Sebring got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Shamari Jones out in front who scored 11 points along with six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Adrianna Maldonado, who scored 11 points.
Sebring has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Auburndale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sebring the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Discovery at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd. Discovery is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Auburndale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bartow at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bartow is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
