Even though the Tri County Area Vikings scored an imposing 59 points on Wednesday, West Michigan Aviation Academy still came out on top. West Michigan Aviation Academy took their game against Tri County Area 69-59.
Several Vikings players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brennan Grabinski, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Rykse, who scored 12 points.
West Michigan Aviation Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Tri County Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
West Michigan Aviation Academy will look to defend their home court on Friday against Forest Hills Eastern at 7:00 p.m. As for Tri County Area, they will head out on the road to face off against Big Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
