The Harrisonville Wildcats will be home for the holidays to greet the Smith-Cotton Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Harrisonville is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought contest, but Harrisonville had to settle for a 50-47 defeat against Warrensburg.
Meanwhile, Smith-Cotton scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Eldon 63-40. The win was familiar territory for Smith-Cotton who now have three in a row.
Harrisonville has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Smith-Cotton, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Harrisonville came out on top in a nail-biter against Smith-Cotton in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, sneaking past 57-55. Will Harrisonville repeat their success, or does Smith-Cotton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
