Tonganoxie's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Ottawa Cyclones as they made off with a 12-3 win. The Chieftains might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

Tonganoxie moved to 5-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Ottawa, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7.

Tonganoxie has already played their next matchup (against Paola), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ottawa, they will welcome Baldwin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
