Graden Buckhanan Goes Supernova in Gunnison Victory
Gunnison's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Graden Buckhanan. Buckhanan turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, rushing for 245 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 96 yards.
Buckhanan and Gunnison are taking a road trip to square off against Bayfield at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The match will pit Buckhanan up against the Wolverines' star RB Lincoln Williams. Will the matchup be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Creede Dozier's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Pagosa Springs over Gunnison
While Creede Dozier delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Pagosa Springs. Dozier was unstoppable, throwing for 200 yards and two touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 74 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
This season, Dozier has thrown 4 touchdowns while averaging 80.9 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 21.57 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 73.86 rushing yards.
