Legal Prep scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They really took it to Spry Community Links for the full four quarters, racking up a 86-13 victory at home. The victory was some much needed relief for Legal Prep as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Jamal Craig continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 42 points. Those 42 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Javon Phillips, who scored eight points.
Legal Prep's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Spry Community Links, they bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Legal Prep will face off against Chicago Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Chicago Tech has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 193 points over their last three matchups. As for Spry Community Links, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Little Village at 4:30 p.m. Little Village presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Spry Community Links in Illinois (Little Village is ranked 320th, while Spry Community Links is ranked 728th).
