The Laingsburg Wolfpack didn't have quite enough to beat the Lakeville Falcons on Monday and fell  3-2. While the Wolfpack didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Falcons  25-21 in the first  set.
 Laingsburg took Lakeville into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-23, 25-15, 19-25,  15-13.
 Harper Strouse paced Laingsburg's offense, picking up 12 kills. Strouse got some help from  Kendall Michels and her 25 assists. Finally,  Sydney Curtis kept Laingsburg's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.
Laingsburg's loss dropped their record down to 10-8-1. As for Lakeville, their win  ended  a  four-match drought at home  and  bumped them up to 5-9-1.
 Coming up, Laingsburg will take on Lansing Christian at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Wolfpack are facing the Pilgrims at the right time seeing as the Pilgrims are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Lakeville, they will square off against Durand at 6:45  p.m.  on Tuesday.
