The Hancock Central Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Johnson County Trojans, and things went their way  on Friday too. Hancock Central put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp  69-43 victory. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Hancock Central.
 Hancock Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Josiah Ingram, who  scored 22 points.  Jace Glover was another key contributor,  scoring 15 points.
 Johnson County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Javaris Duckworth, who  scored 12 points along with three  steals and two  blocks. Another player making a difference was  Benvonte Murray, who  scored 13 points along with eight  rebounds and two  steals.
 Johnson County  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only  an  assist. That's the fewest  assists they've managed all season.
 Hancock Central has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Johnson County, they have  not been sharp recently as the team's  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hancock Central will  face off against the Cobras at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Johnson County, they won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against the Panthers at 6:30  p.m.  on February 3rd. Glascock County comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
